Project overview

The remodelling of the Line 10 station serving the rebuilt Santiago Bernabéu stadium, designed to take its cue from the ground above. The station opened in 1982 as Lima and was renamed in 1998; the great majority of its passengers begin or end their journey at the stadium, and the new design finally acknowledges it. A thirty-eight month programme delivered inside an operating station on one of the network’s busiest lines.
