GIS - Gestión Integral del Suelo - was founded in Madrid in 1996 as an engineering consultancy. The acquisition of OMICRON–AMEPRO and CIESA, both established in the early 1980s, formed the GIS Group in 2007. International expansion began in 2011, and the Group now operates in eight countries.
In 2023 the Group opened its Saudi branch. GIS-KSA leads the Group’s work in the Kingdom - architecture, engineering, interior design, supervision and project management - delivered by a resident Riyadh team.

Since establishing our presence in Saudi Arabia, GIS has continued to strengthen its role as a multidisciplinary engineering and design consultancy serving the Kingdom and the wider Gulf region. Supported by our international experience and regional knowledge, we provide integrated solutions across architecture, engineering, infrastructure, project management, construction supervision, BIM, and specialist consultancy services.
