Al Jazira Community Centre

A community hub for Abu Dhabi Island, its massing argued out of wind and sun studies.

An urban hub on Abu Dhabi Island serving the neighbourhoods around it. Retail, entertainment, wellness, culture, co-living and offices are arranged around open plazas and landscaped courtyards. Site, climate and wind analysis shaped the massing; sculptural forms and layered programme zones carry daylight, ventilation and thermal comfort through the complex.
